Payment processing services must be enabled within 90 days of Application approval, and a card processing transaction must be completed within 180 days of application approval. Payment processing services are enabled by the customer by ordering hardware during the Application process or by indicating they are ready to start taking payments after application approval in Online Banking. If both enablement and a card processing transaction are not completed within the respective timeframes, customer will need to re-apply for payment processing services.

  1. Promo code Q2PRO25 MUST be used when opening a U.S. Bank Business Essentials or Silver Business Checking account. Limit of one bonus per business. A $100 minimum deposit is required to open one of the referenced accounts.

    • Earn your $500 Business Checking bonus by opening a new U.S. Bank Business Essentials or Silver Business Checking account between 4/03/2025 and 6/30/2025. You must make deposit(s) of at least $5,000 in new money within 30 days of account opening and thereafter maintain a daily balance of at least $5,000 until the 60th day after account opening. You must also complete 5 qualifying transactions within 60 days of account opening.

    Qualifying transactions include debit card purchases, ACH credits, Wire Transfer credits and debits, Zelle credits and debits, U.S. Bank Mobile Check Deposit or Bill Pay. Account fees (e.g., monthly maintenance, paper statement fee, etc.) could reduce the qualifying daily balance, therefore you must make deposit(s) to cover the fees to maintain the daily balance during the qualifying period to be awarded the bonus.     Bonus will be deposited into your new eligible U.S. Bank Business Checking account within 30 days following the last calendar day of the month you complete all of the offer requirements, as long as the account is open and has a positive available balance.

  2. Digital transactions include electronic deposits, electronic withdrawals, ATM transactions, Elavon payment processing credits and chargebacks, electronic transfers, ACH, debit card purchases.   3. Teller transactions include deposits and withdrawals made with a banker/teller at a branch and paper checks written on the account. Transactions are $0.50 each once free transactions are surpassed. Certain transactions may have additional service fees.   4. Sales are processed daily and deposited into the associated checking account. Funding speeds will vary between weekdays and weekends and are dependent on batch settlement times. Batches will be processed every day, including weekends. Changing the account that your funds are deposited into may impact your funding speeds. Fee to retain daily funding and deposit applies when the associated checking account is a non-U.S. Bank checking account. Please see the U.S. Bank Business Essentials® Payment Processing Terms of Service and Operating Agreement for details.

  5. One free Ingenico Moby/5500 card reader is included and is only available for customers applying for a new U.S. Bank Business Essentials® account through the online application. Card reader cannot be redeemed for any other hardware purchase or account credit. Additional card readers available for a fee.

  6. ATM Transaction Fee. U.S. Bank will assess this fee for each ATM Transaction conducted at the Non-U.S. Bank ATM. Non-U.S. Bank ATMs are defined as any ATM that does not display the U.S. Bank logo in any manner, physically on the ATM or digitally on the screen.

    ATM Surcharge. Non-U.S. Bank ATM owners may apply a surcharge fee on ATM transactions at their ATMs. U.S. Bank participates in MoneyPass®, an ATM surcharge free network. To find MoneyPass ATM locations, select “visit the MoneyPass locator” at the bottom of our ATM locator search results to be taken to the MoneyPass website. If you use an ATM that uses the MoneyPass® Network and are charged a surcharge fee, please contact us at 800-USBANKS (872-2657) for a refund of the surcharge fee.

  7. Rentals may result in paying more for the equipment over time as compared to purchasing. Rental equipment may be new or used and is dependent on inventory available at time of order. All used equipment is inspected and refurbished upon return before being re-deployed. Rentals are month to month and may be terminated at any time by Company. Additional provisions around the use of rental equipment can be found in the Business Essentials Payment Processing Terms of Service and Operating Agreement.

  8. U.S. Bank Payment Solutions are powered by Elavon, a wholly owned subsidiary of U. S. Bank NA. Elavon assesses the following transaction fees, depending on the acceptance method for the credit card payment:

    Swipe, tap, insert: 2.60% of transaction amount + 10 ¢ per item
    Manual transaction: 3.50% of transaction amount + 15 ¢ per item
    Online payments: 2.90% of transaction amount + 30 ¢ per item

    Disclosed transaction fees apply for online applications. Transaction fees may vary and other fees may apply for accounts not opened online.
