What all applicants and business types need

    Each applicant must provide:

  • Social Security number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN)
  • Legal name
  • Email address
  • Home address
  • Mobile number
     

    Business requirements:

  • Business Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)
  • Legal business name and physical address
  • A minimum opening deposit of $100
  • Debit and credit card sales estimates (required for Business Essentials applications)

Requirements by business type

Government-issued identification card may be required, such as:

  • Driver’s license
  • State-issued identification card
  • U.S. passport

Business Taxpayer Identification Number such as:

  • SSN
  • ITIN
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN)

Proof of legal name if using a doing business as (DBA) name. (DBA names differ from owner’s or legal business names and are often filed with a government authority.)
