Before cancelling a payment, please be aware it needs to be in a pending status. If it's in process or complete, it can’t be modified anymore.
To cancel a mortgage payment using online banking or the U.S. Bank Mobile App
- Select your mortgage account from the dashboard and follow the applicable action below.
- If you have multiple U.S. Bank accounts, choose View and manage.
- If you only have a mortgage, choose View, pay & manage.
- Choose Payment.
- Online banking users: "Payment” can be found at the top of the page.
- U.S. Bank Mobile App users: Select the ellipsis (three vertical dots) in the upper left corner of the screen and choose "Payment".
- Select X next to the pending payment within the "Scheduled Payment" section to cancel it.
- Online banking users: The "Scheduled Payment" section is on the right side of the page.
- U.S. Bank Mobile App users: The "Scheduled Payment" section by scrolling down.
