Expanded digital capabilities simplify and streamline the experience.
U.S. Bank is empowering customers, and simplifying the process, when it comes to car buying and vehicle ownership with the launch of several new digital tools as part of the direct-to-consumer digital auto purchase experience.
Customers and non-customers alike can now secure quick pre-approval via the U.S. Bank website and mobile app for seamless buying at more than 10,000 participating dealerships. In addition, currently more than 6,000 of those dealers allow you to shop their vehicle inventory through the new U.S. Bank Vehicle Marketplace.
Launched in June, Vehicle Marketplace allows customers and non-customers to shop online simultaneously across thousands of U.S. Bank participating dealers, calculate payments and get pre-approved in 15 minutes or less. Further, when a vehicle is selected, buyers can arrive at the dealership with the confidence of a pre-approval letter in hand and enjoy a dedicated U.S. Bank Dealer Services Concierge agent who will partner with them throughout any part of the financing process. Once customers are in their new vehicle, the recently launched U.S. Bank Vehicle Manager helps owners stay on top of maintenance, understand their car’s value and explore trade-in offers.
“Auto dealers remain a vital part of the car-buying experience, but we are helping to streamline the experience so shoppers save time and have confidence with pre-approval in hand,” said John Hyatt, president of dealer services at U.S. Bank. “By bringing vehicle shopping, finance and maintenance together in one place, consumers can shop, get pre-approved and manage their vehicle anytime and anywhere with U.S. Bank.”
In September, U.S. Bank Vehicle Manager was added to the direct-to-consumer auto purchase and management experience allowing customers to manage most aspects of their owned or leased vehicle, including keeping up with preventive maintenance and recalls. Vehicle Manager also helps customers to understand the value of the vehicle and explore potentially selling their vehicle with an on-the-spot offer from local participating dealers. Customers can include up to four cars, light-and medium-duty trucks, and SUVs on Vehicle Manager, which is currently available on the U.S. Bank website and will roll-out on the U.S. Bank Mobile app later this year.
These new tools are among the latest advancements in digital solutions and resources from U.S. Bank to enhance and simplify the customer and banking experience. All with a focus on helping customers complete tasks on their own, when they wish and with easy access to a U.S. Bank representative when more help or guidance is needed.
