U.S. Bank secures naming rights for Timberwolves and Lynx Backcourt Club at Target Center
The Minnesota Timberwolves, Lynx and U.S. Bank today announced a multi-year partnership extension. A Timberwolves partner since the franchise’s inception in 1989, the bank’s partnership with the Wolves and Lynx cements itself as one of the longest-standing partnerships in team history. U.S. Bank serves as an official banking partner for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx.

In a continued effort to invest in a best-in-class fan experience, the all-new U.S. Bank Backcourt Club at Target Center offers a new premium experience for fans. Located on the floor level, the club is conveniently accessed through the Target Center lobby via a private entrance and provides direct access from the club to the arena bowl. U.S. Bank Backcourt Club patrons can enjoy an upscale bar and lounge experience, including exclusive food and beverage offerings for members and a convenient grab and go market. Central to the partnership renewal, U.S. Bank becomes the sixth Lynx Changemaker partner, a part of the Lynx Changemakers platform, an initiative that champions women’s sports, empowers young girls in Minnesota and supports the next generation of female leaders. The Lynx Changemakers program is modeled after the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) Changemakers platform, with the Lynx being the first WNBA franchise to launch the program locally. Through direct financial support, a portion of each Lynx Changemaker partnership is directly allocated to Minneapolis-based organizations that use sports to inspire change, with a focus on mobilizing the community to invest in young girls’ futures.
